5 Reasons We Love Bamboo
Every single day, 27000 trees are cut down to make toilet paper which contributes to 15% of global deforestation. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of awareness about the impact of toilet paper on our environment but we’re here to start the conversation and change things for good!

When we set out to launch an eco-friendly toilet paper brand, we were on a mission to find a raw material that was sustainable and renewable while feeling soft & absorbent. We tested all the options available and fell in love with Bamboo. It checked all the boxes for us and more.

Here are 5 reasons why we love Bamboo:

Bamboo is a grass (not a tree): It does not require planting after harvest and can grow back naturally.

Bamboo is an incredibly renewable resource: It is the world’s fastest-growing plant and grows x30 faster than trees.

It releases great amounts of oxygen: A grove of bamboo produces 35% more oxygen than a tree of a similar size which helps in reducing our carbon footprint.

It has natural antibacterial properties: This means that it can be grown without the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides.

It is kind to your skin: Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic and reduces irritation for people with skin sensitivities.

We wanted to make sure that we stayed true to the pure nature of bamboo - that’s why our toilet rolls are Plastic-free, Tree-free and sourced from FSC Certified forests. You can read more about our story on this link
